By using hollow axles and shaft springs, the Time MX6 Pedal keeps its weight comfortably under the 200 gram mark. It also has large, durable bearings, proven ATAC retention, and a lightweight composite body to appeal to aggressive riders. Time's ATAC (Auto Tension Adjust Concept) is a simple design, with easy engagement and plenty of float.

The spring tension never needs to be adjusted and it also sheds mud for consistent engagement. The MX6s allow plus or minus five degrees of float, with an additional 6mm of lateral movement to permit ergonomic and efficient pedaling. The large bearing surface and wide platform adds confidence in tricky mounting and dismount situations.

The Time MX6 Pedal coms in one color, White, has hollow a steel axle for durability and strength; cleats are included.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my first time with this brand and I'm digging these pedals!! Interesting size but super smooth to pedal with. I've mostly been riding with Crank Brothers pedals, so I'm digging the lower profile that these have. Definitely my favorite pedals I've used in the last while.

Unanswered Question

I have a peloton and recently have been riding a ruby specialized on the road and would love clipless pedals that are easier to get out because I'm a beginner with the outdoor riding, and really want shoes I can walk in if I need to walk off road and need some traction. Can you recommend a beginner shoe and pedals that match and anything else I may need for that at a reasonable price- not the most expensive one that you carry. Thanks so much@

Is the MX6's spring retention adjustable as it is with the higher line Time ATAC pedals?

No, they've stopped offering that feature on most of their pedals.
