Great tracks!
These tracks or rails are great. I had a set on the camper shell of my F150 and could load up 8 kayaks or 2-4 boats and bikes and still fly down the road at 75 mph. However the mounting has changed. I would recommend using the supplied screws but go purchase some stainless steel flat washers, lock washers, and nuts and attach from the bottom of whatever you drill through. Now this assumes you can get to the bottom. If not then use the supplied inserts which is a good option. Them the feet that attach are great to use and you take them off in a snap (they do lock on with locking keys). You don’t need that fit guide. I used every hole for extra attachment security. I had these on my truck for years without a single issue. I just put them on the top of my Jeep Wrangler and they work great!

Missing parts, poor design & zero support
I purchased this since it was recommended for the Leer camper shell. First there was not enough hardware provided for all the holes provided on the tracks. The design might work for other applications but I do no think rivnuts and fiberglass mix well. Several rivnuts spun or lifted upon installing the tracks. I had to drill massive holes into my Leer camper and I reached out to support for the missing hardware or any assistance and go no reply after weeks.

Heat sensitive
The plastic base strip for these durable aluminum rails doesn't resist damage due to the sun's heat. The track is black, the plastic base strip is black, and my roof is black = maximum heat absorption from the sun. The plastic base strip significantly warped, shrunk, and cracked along the entire length.
