Just what I needed

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got a new Jeep and needed these because of the strap to work with my existing roof rack. Own the Aero Blades prior to getting these and they work perfectly together.

Perfect for my Subie

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had the Traverse foot pack on my last Subaru and loved it because of how solid it was, except it damaged the paint since it is constantly in contact.

The Crossroad Railing pack is awesome and keeps my paint protected. There is a bit of a howl that comes from the foot pack, however, I noticed as soon as I put my snowboard attachments on, the howl went ahead.

Quick and easy

Very fast install and secure hold on most factory side rails. Held on while durable rubber coated band so fits almost everything.

easy to install

Attached easily to my grand wagoneer's (1985) factory installed roof rack. Takes about 20 minutes to install them. You should have a tape meaure, screw drivers and cutting knife ready for the install. I dont find them noisy. I find them expensive though.

No lockcs on these; price of locks?

between $5-15 depending on where you get them. Almost every bike shop will have locks for these for these.

    secure and easy to install

These feet work great to hold the Thule Aero bars. I've got them on factory side rails for a 2010 Jeep Liberty. The strap grips the side rail very securely. Very easy to install.

Remember to protect your investment and get 4 SKS lock cylinders

      Money $$$

I put these on my German wagon with the Rapid Load bars. Fit perfectly onto my car's roof rails and when driving, are much quieter than my old rack. Be sure to buy the 6 lock kit so no one runs off with your rack in the middle of the night. Check Thule's website to make sure these will work for your vehicle. Cheers.

        I have 2004 4Runner 4door with factory rack, will 450 crossroad work?

According to Thule's "Rack Your Car" system, both the 450 Crossroad | LB58 Load Bars and the 450R Rapid Crossroad | RB53 Rapid Load Bars will work with your vehicle. In addition, many Thule products will work directly with your factory rack.

I drive a Toyota Highlander SUV (2004) with a factory roof rack. I want to carry a 13' alum canoe and/or kayaks. The factory cross bars do not provide a solid in place hold. Which or your products fits my needs best? WEB
