Great ski box
I've been using this box for 3 months now and have no complaints. I've got it on a 2021 Toyota Rav4 and keep my skis (xc, downhill and touring) in it, plus I can take 3 other people and their gear, too. It affects my gas mileage by probably 0.5L/100km or less and looks good. Very happy!

Great addition to the Tahoe
I've always thrown the families skis in the back of the SUV not thinking I really needed a rooftop box. Boy was I mistaken. These new designs with lower profiles fit in the garage and hold everyones skis. What a great addition to the Tahoe. It looks great, doesn't make alot of noise and yes, it fits in the garage.

Good Storage but Loud
I'm happy with the purchase as it doest everything that it's supposed to. The box came in damaged and Thule was able to expedite the broken part.(They would not compensate for the innocence.) The storage is great and its very easy to use. My only complaint is that its very loud when you're driving more than 60 miles an hour. It sounds like you're driving with the windows open.

Great First Time Purchase
This was my first roof box purchase. So far, so good. I'm waiting for ski season to begin to give it the full review. I'm interested in seeing how we utilize the boxes capability of being opened/closed from both sides of the vehicle. Installation was super easy on top of the Evo Wing Crossbars. One aspect that I don't love is that I can't remove the key from the box in an "open" position (i understand this might be to eliminate the possibility of forgetting to lock the box). I would prefer the sleeker style of the Vector but at the cost of the Motion.

Great roof rack!
I’ve been using my Alpine Thule roof rack for several months now and so happy with all the features. It’s super easy to get gear in and out. I’ve had other racks that were not so easy. Keeps our skis and boots perfectly in place and out of rough elements. I use it in the summer for camping and extra SUP storage. Love Thule products, you know their well made and engineered for people who love the outdoors!

Excellent
I purchased the carrier a few weeks ago and used it once for a ski trip so far. I easily fit five pairs of adult skis in the carrier. The skis were strapped together in pairs and placed on their sides between the clamps. I believe I could fit a few more pairs with some creative arranging. The locking system is great. I've used cheaper carriers where the key engages the latches as well as the lock and had issues with the key breaking off in the lock. On this carrier, the latches are separate from the lock. It's really easy to tell when the latches are engaged and then there's almost no resistance when locking the carrier. It's a very well thought out design. The only negative is that it's fairly heavy and is much easier to install with two people.

Huge space saver and very durable!
I have owned this cargo carrier for 6 months now. The Motion XT Alpine is a perfect addition to my car! (2017 Audi A4) I live in Northern British Columbia Canada. It holds all 4 of my families snowboards and 2 bags with room for more. Easy to open from either side and lockable. The plastic is durable and strong. Easy to open and close in temperatures of -30 Celsius. The hinges have worked perfectly every time. It does rattle at times when on rough roads but expected. On smooth roads, not a sound. A bit of wind noise at highway speeds but nothing I didn't expect. I would absolutely recommend this carrier to anyone looking for storage on a car. It functions as well as it looks. Thanks Thule!
