These are so nice to wear

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Bought these as road shorts and I really like them. The material is stretchier and softer than any other short I have, and I like it a lot. I was afraid at first that the material wouldn't hold up, but so far so good. I bought a bunch of pairs and they go through the wash weekly. The padding is nice too, but I wouldn't say heavy or light padding -- just nice and in the middle. I think Terry Cycles is a women-specific brand as well, so that confirmed why these shorts were so comfy. Also, on the muffin-top front, they had very little affect! The stretchiness was perfect to fit nice, but prevent any awkward hip tightness. Because I'm just a big person compared to the average road cyclist, I went up a size than usual non-cycling pants, and they fit great.

Best Liners!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I use these as a Mtn. Bike liner and alone on spin bike and road cycling. I am very particular about bike short liners. For Years "Shebeest Breezer Shorts" had the best liner but they quit making them 2-3 years ago. I requested they bring them back but no luck. Some of mine are 10 years old. I was on a quest for a new liner. Patagonia's are too tight in the waist for the hips and have the diaper feel. I ride 3-7 days every week. Mountain biking summer and fall and "Zwifting" year round. Many liners are too short and give the pinched inner thigh. No Bueno. Also if they are too short they won't protect you from the bike seat and will ride up. These are perfect length. Club shorts not my thing. I tried several Pearli and have never been able to leave the dressing room with a pair. This short is great in the hot sweaty desert, breathes well. Incredibly comfortable even for a 5 hour day in the saddle. Don't feel as "diaperish" as some. I tried 1 pair medium and 1 pair large from a physical store this summer, once I figured the size I wanted which took 3 months of trial, both sizes functioned well but I bought 5 more Large. I liked large better then medium so they don't pinch my muffin top! ( Mine is small but it's there). Neither rode up. No elastic gripper in the legs but they function great. My first 2 pairs are 6 months old, Survived 6 months of 1-3 times per week of wash and "tumble dry low" which is against the directions of drip dry but how it usually works at my house. Still fit/ look amazing. The legs never creep up on a ride. (True of both medium and large) The large has a little longer rise so no pinching of a muffin top! I seem to be between sizes and in cycling gear I did better in large.
