Roll at will.

Rollers are rollers. At least, they are until they become catapults and throw you into the wall or the rider warming up in front of you because you punched out of them with an acceleration. Tacx' Galaxia Training Rollers solve that issue with a swing system that absorbs those accelerations, keeping your tires on the rollers and you on the bike. It also features the same conical rollers as the less expensive Antares model, and that shape further reduces the risk of unplanned rider/basement wall interfaces by coaching your tires into the center and away from the rollers' edges.

  • A set of rollers that almost think for you
  • Absorbs sudden accelerations to keep you on the rollers
  • Shaped to coach tires into the center and away from edges
  • Retracts to 80cm for convenient storage and transportation

Riding right

I have been using rollers as a way to train both indoors when the weather is poor, or to warm up at races over the past 25+ years, and these rollers really keep it simple at staying away from the edges, and inspiring confidence that one isn't simply going to roll off the trainer, if there happens to be a lack of focus. Rollers to me are the best way to train. Reasoning for my thoughts is that it teaches equal power out of both legs, teaches the rider to stay relaxed and how to stay smooth throughout the pedal stroke. If you have never ridden any, and you're unsure grab these and I am sure within minutes you will be spinning and enjoying the benefits that only come with riding rollers vs. rear wheel trainers. The other benefit is no need to swap tires out or have a spare set of training wheels. You can go from outside riding to rollers without changing tires. If you have have any questions about these rollers or other trainers please feel free to reach out to me.

Decreasing tire pressure and gears in the smallest ring, I seemingly am unable to get an uphill pressure in the peddling. Any suggestions?
