Why We Like The Syncros Trail Fender

While we carry many fond memories of mud-splattered smiles on early-season trail days, there's something about sandy grit in your pearly whites that's far less than appealing. That's why we're all about the Syncros Trail Fender. This front-mount fender will keep your money-maker mud-free when you miscalculate how much rain fell last night, and are met with intermittent mud puddles through your descent, thanks to its large, impact-resistant composite shield catching splashes before they can make their way to you. It bolts directly to FOX 34 or FOX 36 forks with Boost spacing with two included screws, giving you secure, rattle-free coverage that can be easily removed without cutting away old zip ties so that it can be used again on your next ride.

Nice, but does NOT fit Fox 34 Grip2 Fork

Have a 2023 FOX 34 Grip 2 - this does NOT fit. Just FYI.

Fits 2022 Specialized Status with Fox 36

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Nice fit, just large enough to keep the vertical spray from launching up in your face. Looks factory.

Fits Fox 2021 34 Non-boost Fork

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This mud guard mounted perfectly to my new F34 2021 Performance Fork. Haven't ridden it yet though, so jury is still out. I will update this review after a few rides. Been riding with this fender for a while now with no issues. Works great!

2021 FOX 36 Grip 2 "NOT COMPATIBLE"

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Figured I would help out a fellow MTB'er. I gave this fender 4 stars for the actual product which is well designed, Syncros is a good brand with great products. I didn't give 5 stars due to the product description being a little misleading. Unfortunately, this does not fit on my 2021 FOX 36 Grip 2. I uploaded pictures for reference. Don't make the same mistake I did. I did not notice the differance until the product arived.

Terrific Fender/Right on Spec

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This fender has a terrific fit on my Fox 34. It provides good coverage and looks great to boot! Wish all bikes with Fox forks came with it already. It's a simple, but very effective and useful addition to the fork.

Clean Look

Familiarity:

Way better than the zip-tied fenders and just easier to take off if needed. Have these on two different bikes because they look real nice!

Screws to short to attach

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Got very frustrating as I tried to mount it. Screws not long enough on orange one to attach to fox 34 boost. Also it is very short. There are better options out there for a few more bucks. Ended up with RRP bolt on progaurd and am very pleased with the length to protect frame and stanchions

only comes in boost, but can be shaved

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I like the material, nice blend of rigidity and compliance, and I was able to widdle mine down with a razor to fit my non-boost fork. Crazy there is not much on the market other than these for bolt-on fenders in non-boost forks. With this mudguard, dont expect ample protection but it does do the job; wish this came in something other than ??. Update: I am getting the black one now while theyre here, same price as dying the orange one. Fair warning, this fender is a butte and very enduro, but it leaves the bottom of your stanchions and dust wipers exposed; especially to sticky, loose debris (like gravel) under grippy tires like my Maxxis Minon DHR2s.

Nothing Better!

What took them so long, and why didn't Fox create these? The world will never know, and what art those threads for if not a fender?
