The body is forged and machined from AL7050 aluminum, a higher-grade alloy than the AL6061 found in many stems at this price point, which contributes to both the 155g claimed weight and the torsional stiffness that translates into precise, confidence-inspiring handling when the trail gets steep or loose. The 4-bolt face plate distributes clamping force evenly across the handlebar contact zone, reducing stress concentration and ensuring a secure, vibration-free connection through rough terrain where single-bolt or 2-bolt face plates can introduce flex or inconsistency.

Integrated external cable guides manage routing cleanly across the stem body, keeping brake and dropper cables organized without adding bulk or requiring supplemental hardware.
