SwissStopRacePro Yellow King Brake Pad - 2-Pack
Item # SUI0009
Are SwissStop RacePro Yellow King brake pads the best pads in the world for use with carbon fiber rims? We should have the courage to flat-out say it, but instead we'll just pass along this little piece of gossip: It's SwissStop that makes Lightweight's house brand brake pads -- and we don't know anyone who'd dispute that Lightweight makes the best carbon-rimmed bike wheels on the planet. Lightweight needn't hold back on the quality of their pads. When they wanted the very best, they sought out SwissStop.
The RacePro Yellow King is specifically made for use with carbon fiber rims. They provide unparalleled stopping power in both wet and dry conditions. They give you high durability, quiet braking, and, perhaps best of all, excellent stopping power with aluminum rims as well. SwissStop makes it clear that there's no need to swap out pads from carbon-specific to non if you switch wheels from your carbon race-day gems to your aluminum training set. You'll simply want to inspect for and remove any alloy bits that might get embedded in the pads when you swap back to your carbon wheels.
"RacePro" means one thing: These are Campagnolo compatible. Be aware that these pads are designed to fit 2011 and newer Campagnolo Brake holders (though they are backwards compatible with 2000-2010 brake holders). One order gets you 4 pads total -- enough for one bike.
- Each package includes 4 brake pads

Yellow King "KING OF THE CARBON PELOTON"
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I RUN YELLOW KING, IN BLACK, FROM LIGHTWEIGHT FOR MY LIGHTWEIGHT STANDARD RIMS by Carbon Sport. Whether yellow or black, these pads are, by far, the best pads available for Carbon rims. Spend a little more and get a lot more with Yellow Kings -- the other brands are, well, not nearly as good, to put it mildly. Stick with Swiss Stop when you NEED TO STOP!
