Great Merino Option

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Fit:
True to size

If you are familiar with Swiftwick, then you already know how comfortable their products are, but these might be the cream of the crop. I think that these are a little softer than the Aspires that I typically use, but still offer a snug fit and are still breathable. Also, the Sevens are the best length by far. You won't regret trying these!

Sometimes you just want a wool sock and if that's the case this is one of if not the best wool sock out there! My go to is the Aspire but I do find myself being pulled to the wool for some of the longer mountain bike rides or even rides when the temps are a little cooler. Now granted you can use the merino wool in warm or cool temps but for me it's more in the cooler temps this sock shines. Odd that I say that I was just wearing these yesterday on a 90m ride and it was 95 degrees out! That's just how good they are I didn't give me feet a second thought!

As Good as it Gets

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

True to size

Do yourself, and your cycling shoes a favor by choosing this amazing sock. This is a snug fitting, low volume sock that doesn't slip or bunch up. If you ride MTB, Gravel, or in the rain this merino wool sock will keep the temps regulated so your dogs don't get cold midway through your ride. Due to the anti microbial characteristics of this wool; your cycling shoes can fight the stink, and live indoors where they belong.

Fantastic MTB Sock

Familiarity:

True to size

Soft, comfortable, and stays in place. Feels cool even in 90-degree weather. Seven inch length has light padding that even prevents damage from flat pedal shin strikes. I machine wash and air dry; merino blend has held up well. May seem a bit pricey but these are well worth it; I bought a second pair. Big thumbs up.

Among the Best Wool Socks

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

These are some of the best winter socks out there. They're a nice weight that adds warmth but still fits in most cycling shoes without having to size up. Swiftwick is known for their compression and that makes these even better. Some wool socks I have tend to slide around on my feet, these stay locked in place. The 7" cuff is perfect for winter use. The merino wool means these socks don't start to smell right away. They seem plenty durable out of the box but Swiftwick has an awesome warranty if needed!

Dresser Drawer Game Changer

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

WOW! I never really thought too much about spending money on socks. I would buy the bulk pack, usually at some discount store and wear them out and toss them. I was gifted a pair of the Pursuits 7, and I was hooked! My feet are comfortable no matter the activity. I have MTB all day long, sat by the fire and lounged around, comfortable all day, No Smell, thanks Merino!! Sock drawer has been overtaken by the Switwick line. I wear a size 9 and the Mediums are the sweetspot for me!
