Knee Shin Pad

When it comes to protection on the bike, knees tend to get all of the coverage, but if you've taken a pedal to the shin (lets face it, we all have), you know well that there are other zones that could seriously use some coverage. Sweet Protection's Knee Shin Pads are designed to offer just that, using the same 3D articulated SAS-TEC SCL2 padding that you would find in the standard knee pad, but with coverage that caries down to the ankle. SAS-TEC SCL2 offers protection from a visco-elastic polymer that stays soft when you're pedaling, but has a knack for outstanding shock absorption in the event of impact, and is rated for multiple impacts. This translates to pedalability for the bulk of your ride, but protection when you need it. Aramid stretch tops the pads to add additional protection against scuffs and snags, elevating the longevity of the pads. The sleeves themselves are built from perforated neoprene and lycra, offering generous stretch and breathability, and a tacky neoprene band at the top to help keep your fit in place. And because sweat and mud happen, Sweet Protection makes the padding removable, so you can toss the sleeves in the wash after a day on the trail, and freshen them up for tomorrow.
