Bottom Tab Constantly Fails

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Had 3-4 sets of these at one point. Cheap and great looks. But the bottom tab that holds the bottle in place fails and lets the bottle slide down and sometimes out.

Nice looking but poor quality

Familiarity:

I ordered two of these cages for my Road/Gravel bike and really liked the looks of them on the bike. They seemed to hold bottles fairly well even on bumpy gravel roads. The problem is the aluminum is too thin and eventually both cages broke in the exact same spot near the top mounting point. Supacaz was willing to warranty them, but it will just happen again I have no doubt.

Awesome look/terrible function

Had the two tone version at $50 a cage. Had 4. Run them on my gravel bike. Have lost bottles driving with them in on the rack, never had that happen before on even cross country trips. Almost unusable as fork mounted even with hair ties to secure bottles. Final straw was a new rattle on my bike. Discovered one cage was cracked. Replaced it with a reserve only to find the seat tube one was cracked as well. The pink and blue matched my bike perfect but the exorbitant money for what performs worse than a standard wire cage is ridiculous.

Cool

Bottle cage looks awesome but the performance really lacks. The moment you get into anything rowdy your bottle will go flying off the bike. Bends easily by hand but just doesnt hold the bottle well enough.

Lightweight, cool looking, and Flimsy

Looks cool. Got it for my girl's bike to accessorize. It bends super easy. Luckily, it bends back into place. It seems to hold the bottle okay, but just be aware what you're getting.
