On the positive side, these gloves look great, the fit is true to the size chart, and they are quite comfortable and grippy for cycling, with a decent amount of padding on the palm. Construction also feels quite respectable compared to some other brands i've used. On the neutral aspects, the palm isn't that grippy for anything other than handlebars (watch your phones and paper cups), and it has the same issues as most touchscreen compatible gloves, in that although it works quite well (two-finger operation for pinch/expand is tricky, but doable), its usefulness is rather limited by the hit you take on precision. They do nothing against rain, but they don't claim to, and at least they do dry quickly. As for the negatives, given that a glove's main job is to keep your hands warm, it does an incredibly poor job of this. On a 2-hour bike ride in Seattle in 48°F weather (dry for the first hour, medium-strength showers for the second), pushing hard up hills and cranking across flatlands, my fingers never once got warm, and i could feel the wind pushing through the whole time. What's more, on the couple of occasions i had to remove one glove to poke things on my phone, as SOON as you remove the glove, it immediately loses what little heat it had been trapping and returns to ambient temperature. Even storing the glove inside my jacket didn't prevent having to put a cold glove back on a cold hand. I wear inexpensive fingerless cycling gloves 100% of the time i ride, in temps down to the mid-50s, and these were only a marginally warmer experience (actually worse when wet). Although i don't hate them enough to return them, i will probably only wear them as cold weather driving or general purpose gloves, when i have access to external heat and/or pockets. Also i realize "cool weather" is a relative term, but i still expect a $40 "cycling" glove to do more than just hide my hands.

Mountain biked with these with a thin fleece liner glove inside. Temps were around 37°F, so too warm for my lobster mitts. Finger tips got cold in these. They're pretty thin gloves. The cuffs are long and comfortable. The pads on the palms are chunky. For the price they're ok, but I was hoping they'd be a little more substantial.

Not a cold weather glove but perfect for cooler weather 40 degrees or above, well made, nice looking glove.
