Fiery warmth without the sweat.
Providing maximum warmth within a lightweight, highly breathable package, the Sugoi Women's RSE Alpha Bike Jacket regulates your core temperature on cold-weather rides without soaking you in built-up perspiration. Based off the award-winning design of Sugoi's Alpha Hybrid run jacket, the RSE Alpha features Polartec Alpha insulation for fiery warmth without stifling your core on demanding rides. Originally designed for the needs of U.S. Special Forces, Polartec Alpha delivers active insulation that's adaptable to rapidly changing conditions, without the need to shed excess layers when you're riding hard.
Not only is this jacket exceptionally warm and breathable, but it's also extremely lightweight and flexible. Midzero fabric along the center-back panel provides maximum flexibility. Micro Pro four-way stretch fabric along the sides and arms ventilates areas where you sweat most, combating overheating when you're slogging up steep inclines and sprinting all out. Plus, the jacket's Finomesh lining actively wicks moisture off your body to speed up the transport and evaporation of sweat. Ultimately, this means you'll stay nice and dry without the clammy feel of less breathable insulated jackets.
Other key features include a form-fitting cut that reduces excess material from flapping at high speeds. Its offset front zip won't chafe or irritate sensitive skin along your neck and face when it's fully zipped. Additionally, there's one chest pocket, along with two rear pockets for carrying energy gels and extra layers.

Love this jacket!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small - then exchanged for Medium
I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, wear a Small or Medium (pretty much right in between) and bought this jacket in a size small. It fit but was a little tight in my shoulders and just barely long enough (in the arms and the torso). The neck zipper also didn't feel "right". I wore it for a couple of weeks before deciding to return it to order the Medium. Now that I've received the right size for me - I can say this is an awesome jacket!
It fits really nicely. It's warm, comfortable and perfect for a lot of different weather situations. I just have to change my layers underneath to fit the exact weather. But this is a jacket that can be used for much of the year...so I'm excited about that.
It's a beautiful jacket and I would highly recommend it. The only thing I'd change is to have a front pocket. There is a pocket on the chest in the front but I'd prefer it to be a hand pocket. Otherwise the jacket is pretty darn perfect.
