Resist winter.

It's time to admit that summer is gone. The days are getting shorter and cooler, and the wind and precipitation have kicked up to prep the landscape for winter hibernation. As fans of seasonal variation, we're thrilled; as cyclists … not so much. Lovely as fall is, it announces the coming of winter hibernation for many cyclists. But that doesn't mean we're ready to go gentle into that good night just yet, especially not when we have the Sugoi RS Zero Tights at our disposal. With a blend of insulation, elemental resistance, and the Formula FX chamois, the RS Zeroes will be a trusted lieutenant in your anti-winter insurgency.

These tights take their name from the SubZero DWR material that makes up the majority of their construction. As the name implies, SubZero DWR is designed for insulation and given a DWR treatment to make it water resistant. This is further buttressed with panels of Firewall 180 at the knees and thighs to create a waterproof barrier in areas that get hit hardest when you're caught in precipitation on the bike. The discreet panels are combined with flatlock seams to eliminate chafing.

The RS Zeroes incorporate a Formula FX chamois, which includes perforations for ventilation, a seamless surface, and V-control pads to dampen road noise that filters up through the saddle. Four-way stretch side panels conform to your body and move with you, rather than against you. The strategically appointed topography of varying thicknesses in the foam is designed to manage contact and weight distribution to protect sensitive areas and maintain ventilation.

The Sugoi RS Zero Tights - Women's are available in sizes ranging from X-Small to X-Large in the color Black.

so it!

  • Fit: Runs small

i was apprehensive. but these are so it! these are truly cozy. keeps the cold from burning my skin in 25 degrees. The length is a bit long. but i'm short. I really like that its made in north america, not asia. It hasn't been wet out since i've worn them, but i'm hopeful they'll keep me dry.

and i really really love the customer service at competitive cyclist. A1!

Great winter tights

Used these on a ride 37 degree and they did great

Nice and Warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

Great but I do have a bit more junk in my trunk that these tights are really best for. They are super comfortable but a slightly higher rear rise would be stunning. I have kept them and worn them happily but do need to tuck in my base or there could be a draft.

Warm and snug

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I wore these tights in 23 degrees in NJ and they kept me very warm. If you are not riding in such cold temps, I can see where they may seem heavy or "thick" as someone else commented, but in frigid temps you want something heavier. The only thing I didn't like, and it could be just me as I've already started packing on the winter pounds, is that they felt low like I was wearing a pair of hip huggers. It's also possible that I hadn't tied the drawstring tightly enough and they were riding low. The chamois is great! Very padded but not bulky or diaper-like at all. They also look good!

Nice and protective

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Tghts will keep you pretty warm in zero degree weather. Too thick for me so I shall return. But good quality.
