In the same way that professional cyclists' bib shorts are subject to relentless abuse over the course of the season, so too are their jerseys. Day after day of hours in the saddle, these strongmen battle it out on the road, while their jerseys work to keep them cool, dry, and comfortable. For the construction of the jersey, Sugoi employed its new Gobi fabric. Gobi is an ultra-light polyester microfiber featuring a diamond shaped knit, which essentially means that it increases stretch and the net amount of surface area. This enhanced surface area results in a faster transfer of moisture from the skin, where it's distributed to the jersey's exterior for rapid evaporation. However, not to be a one-trick-pony, the aforementioned knit also lends itself to a heightened sense of breathability and comfort.

Adding to this design principle, Sugoi implemented its Zone construction. This includes mesh inserts that add a comfortable stretch and friction-free fit, along with an additional source of increased airflow. Also, this system includes Vector Stretch panels that actually increase air circulation throughout the jersey.

In terms of fit, Sugoi cut the jersey on a contour in order to replicate the body's position throughout the movements of cycling. Accordingly, we find a minimally seamed construction where the back sleeves and shoulder are cut from one piece. In fact, the attachment to the front panel occurs near the clavicle and ribs. So, there's more of a contour over the back, shoulders, and sleeves where shaping and movement actually occur. And to secure this fit, Sugoi placed its compressive bands at the sleeves and hem in order to provide a secure grip without inhibiting circulation or movement. The front of the Pro Team features a full-length zipper for on-the-fly heat dumps, and three ample rear pockets for storage of your ride essentials.
