Arm Coolers

We bet you never thought of wearing long sleeves in the summer while riding. But what if we told you that wearing the right fabric may actually keep you cooler? The Sugoi Arm Coolers were designed to do just that. Constructed from Icefil, Sugoi's Arm Coolers were designed to protect you even in sun-bleached desert territory. Icefil is a reactive knit that utilizes the moisture from your perspiration to cool your skin—much like the way an evaporative cooler works. Flatlocked seams eliminate chafing and discomfort on long rides and the elastic grippers keep them securely on.

  • Arm coolers for hot summer riding
  • Icefil material uses your perspiration to cool you off
  • Flatlocked seams eliminate chafing
  • UPF 50+ for long sun exposure
  • Elastic grippers offer a secure hold

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Natural Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

Too short

I'm 5'4' and ~110#. Ordered an xsmall. The arm sleeves fit great on my upper arms but way too short. Did not cover my wrists leaving a big gap between my cycling gloves and arm sleeves.

Sugoi arm cooler

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I spend the summers in Northern Michigan and I spend the winter in a Houston Texas. I purchased the XL teal colored arm coolers. The the arm length is not long and the diameter of the upper arm was bigger than my arm. I work out regularly so don’t have noodle arms. I did not feel they were thin arm warmers. I would have liked them better if they were warmers vs coolers. I have a set of Gore arm warmers I like that I purchased at the same time so I understand arm warmers.

These are thin warmers, not coolers

True to size

FOR THE TEAL COOLERS: These are thin warmers, not coolers. I took them out on a hot-for-coastal-Bay-area day, and couldn't feel any breeze through them at all. My jersey let more air through. I even tried dowsing them with water while I was wearing them, but they didn't cool down or evaporate. The water just kind of stayed there in a damp spot; I still didn't feel the cool breeze. I could get a little relief if I lifted them off my skin, but that's not how coolers are supposed to work. They should be cooler than wearing nothing. Compare that to my Morvelo coolers, which also block the sun, but allow you to feel every slight breeze, and whisk away your sweat with cooling evaporation. Those are truly coolers, and better than bare arms on hot days. UPDATE: It's possible that the white am coolers are better. I've tried the teal and white LEG coolers, and they are made of different material thickness. The white leg coolers work great, while the teal leg "coolers" are also just thin leg warmers.

Color not what I expected

My mistake, I thought these would be 'red' in color. They are closer to pink or fushia. Love the idea of something other than white for sun sleeves. They look to be beautifully made I just dont like the color. I should have read the description more closely.

Exactly what I wanted

I bought these to help me avoid sunburns and also to have an extra layer on my arms in the morning. They're perfect. The Azalea color is a great pink, much better for me than the white arm coolers everyone else has. They also stay up easily without cutting off circulation in my upper arms. I'm 5'7" - size medium is perfect.
