Description

It works for cars, so why not bikes? Just like that fix-a-flat stuff you wonder about using, this milky goo seals small leaks and punctures, up to 1/4in. And the stuff works really well. The kit can convert most tubed tires to tubeless. And if you're already riding tubeless, it makes running low pressure and riding through thornbushes, glass gardens, and herds of goathead thorns all the safer.

For those who are wondering, no the sealant doesn't freeze, doesn't alter the balance of the wheel, and can work in any kind of tubeless tire when combined with a UST or tubeless-ready rim. If you have a standard clincher wheelset, bear in mind that you'll still need to prep your wheels with a tubeless conversion kit before taking advantage of this sealant. The one-quart container can seal up to 16 tires.

Tubeless 101: The Why and the How Explained.

The original, the best

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

What i use exclusively for sealant. I've heard good things about orange seal but havent had any issues with this so i've never bothered with anything else. Seals up small cuts and punctures with ease.

easy to clean up

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Easy to clean up and does a great job sealing goat head holes.

Doesn't last forever and needs to be refreshed depending how much riding you are doing. I like using the Stan's no tube injector https://www.backcountry.com/stans-notubes-injector?rr=t so I don't have to bust the beed.

Magic liquid

It sealed up a decent size hole in my tire and is still holding up after a few rides. Easy to install and performs well. Definitely would recommend this if you are setting up tubeless.

    The secret's in the sauce

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The few times I have had a puncture on tubeless, this stuff seals it up quick. I will add a bit to my tires every other month just to ensure there is enough juice in the tank to get me through long rides.

    A must for tubeless

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sam's is a must for tubeless tires and has saved my ass on more than one occasion. One quart size allows for multiple uses. Up to 16 to be exact.

    No other option.

I would not use any other sealant in a tubeless setup. Super easy, works great and lasts.

    Best of the best

Stan's the man!! Zero percent chance you'll be disappointed by the product. Top notch.

    Minimal mess, maximum protection

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Seals the rips, nicks, pricks, and punctures! And it doesn't gum up or get everything nasty. Unless it leaks in your bag.... which is what happened to me.... and is entirely my fault.

    you need it duh

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Says on the tire, "won't stay inflated without a tube or sealant". I don't use tubes so I need this sealant.
Easy to use. Nice to the environment. Seals punctures.

Get a valve remover and injector and you can add 1oz or 2oz throughout the season so you're always good to go.

Tried other Stuff, Still Like Stans

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've tried other brands but I keep going back to Stans classsic. Bummer it beads up so quick but it's easy to remove the ball and throw in more sealant.

    Saved me from disaster!

Adding Stan's is (almost) always the solution! After waking up to a flat on my tubeless setup, I quickly added more Stan's and air. The tire was still holding air at the end of my ride! It sealed a small hole and has been holding for a week now. Love this stuff. Be sure to replenish every 4-5 months, especially if you live in a dry climate.

    magic juice!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The only Tubeless sealant to use. No more than a cup of this magical liquid keeps the tires rolling for days on end in the most unforgiving conditions in the mountains and deserts. There are many like it but stans is my own.

    There's Only One

There's a reason Stan's is the go-to for going tubeless - it's reliable & affordable. I always have some handy in the garage to keep my tubeless setup in prime condition.

      Works like it says

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The instructions are easy and after using my tires were back in working shape (I had a slow leak). This stuff is the standard for tubeless tires.

      Seals slow leaks

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use latex tubes on my road bike which are $13 bucks each, sometimes I get slow leaks and before I throw them out or try to patch them, I always squirt some Stan's in them. Most of them time, it'll be good as new.

Great for sealing tubeless ready tires

I like to add some slime to the mix as well and makes it last longer and seal punctures on the trail quicker!
