Stan's NoTubesRace Sealant
Item # SNT003B
Race Sealant
In the midst of a race, there's no time to stop and putz with a leak. Stans developed their Race Sealant to work faster and better than their standard sealant, so you can carry on and catch the lead pack. With twice the grit of their standard, the sealant better plugs larger punctures to keep you rolling. The Race Sealant also functions better in a wider variety of temperatures and conditions, saving you from the dreaded dry sealant situation on the side of the road.
- Stan's pro-level sealant to keep you rolling
- Larger grain crystals seal better and faster than standard formula
- Sealant must be poured into tire, not through valve injector method

Next Level Stan’s
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have been a long time user of the original Stan’s formula and it has been the best sealant that I have tried so I figured I should give this one a go as it made sense. Well I am a new concert to the Race formula! Less viscous and larger particulates make this sealant the new standard!

Stans race sealant
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I used this stuff on a daily basis building bikes and it works great! The larger opening on the lid makes it quicker to fill up a tire.

Bette than traditional Stans
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had much better luck sealing punctures with the race sealant than original Stan's. Seems like it works better overall particularly with punctures that resemble a small tear. I feel like original Stan's never really did much on a puncture like that. This stuff has saved me on a couple of occasions.

Great stuff
Really like the new 'Race' sealant. Definitely thicker than the original. The old stuff was pretty darn good too.

Best Sealant . Period
- Familiarity:

I have tried Orange and regular Stans.. and Stan's Race is the best i have used so far.. it is thicker than the regular version and seals very fast... however it also dries relatively fast.

Race Ready Sealant
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
So I would only recommend using this sealant on race day. It coagulates very quickly and can seal most damage to your tire, but if you leave it in your bike too long it will coagulate, harden, and then not work. You can leave it in your tire for about 2 weeks before it just hardens and sits in there.

Race, because it is faster
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
No it really isn't faster. I left Stans a few years ago and up until recently I have been using Orange Seal. Orange seal coats more evenly, but lacks the bigger particles in the sealant that are needed for larger punctures. I have also added fine glitter to sealant in the past to get the same affect. Stans was probably doing something similar for their pro racers and decided to make it a thing. Yeah it costs a little extra and I would like to think that Stan's has also done something special with the formula. I have been happy so far with the results and it has been able to seal a couple of punctures this year so I will keep using it.

Different
- Familiarity:

Definitely a different mix than the regular sealant. Lots more fibrous and seems to stick to the inside of the tire more and not stay suspended in liquid form. Not really sure if this is a good or bad thing. I don't think I would run this all the time but for bike trips or races I would go with the stans race over the regular stans.

The Good Stuff
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This was my first time trying out this new "Race" sealant. As far as I can tell, it's just about as good as the previous rendition, but we will see how it hold ups long term and on rougher terrain. So far so good!

Still the best
- Familiarity:

There is a reason Stan's was the first and still sells the most of their sealant. It works, plain and simple. Now that does require you to re-apply (same as any day at the beach), but if you do frequently enough, you can almost be as bold as to ride without a spare tube.

a true standard
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I started using Stan's as it was the standard when I converted to tubeless. I've used various other brands, but still find myself coming back to either the Stan's regular or the Stan's race sealant every time. The more particles offer better puncture sealing especially for the larger cuts.

Extra Chunky
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
It pretty hard to improve something that is already great however, Stan's has found a way! This sealant is just as easy to use as the original. However, by using large and small irregular-shaped particles that interlock more quickly I noticed it can plug larger holes. A great option for someone who want's a little extra protection against flats!

The best got better
- Familiarity:

Standard Stans was always my go to after trying a few different sealants. The new Race Sealant is even better, with more particles and better properties for sealing your tires, this should be in every tubeless tire out there.

I haven't noticed it dry quicker...
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I used regular stans for a LONG time in all my mountain bike tires, and when they came out with this thicker stuff i figured I'd give it a shot. Seems to seal larger cuts well, and I have not noticed that it dries up any faster. Would definitely recommend.

This is constructive and helpful point, thanks. I think I'll stick with the regular sealant for now at least until I get thru my current bottle.
