XX1 Eagle 12-Speed Trigger Shifter

In the considerable undertaking that was creating a 12-speed drivetrain, every piece of componentry received a laser focused attention to detail and engineering ingenuity. With the XX1 Eagle 12-Speed Trigger Shifter, SRAM introduces a well-executed carbon and aluminum design that builds on its 11-speed predecessors to stand on its own and allows you to get the most out of your XX1 Eagle drivetrain.

In addition to its ability to shift through a massive range of 12 gears, the XX1 Eagle Trigger Shifter comes with a brand new internal shifting mechanism that improves responsiveness and smooths out shifts compared to older XX1 shifters. It includes SRAM's Zero Loss technology as well, ensuring you don't experience lag time when you throw the lever heading into a big climb or punching out of a switchback. The updated internals boast improved longevity, as well as the customizable capability to upshift by up to five gears at a time. This shifter also comes with SRAM's Matchmaker compatibility, allowing it to integrate cleanly with the rest of your cockpit and keep the shifter, as well as various suspension and dropper post remotes, arranged in one easy-to-access place on the bars.

  • Brand new 12-speed shifter compatible with SRAM Eagle
  • New internals for faster, more reliable shifts
  • Customizable design allows you to shift the way you want
  • Durable, lightweight carbon and aluminum body

It just works!

I've used it several times

When upgrading your mountain bike drivetrain to SRAM Eagle, this shifter will be an integral part of your new and improved system. It handles the massive 50 tooth gear on the Eagle cassette without a problem and smoothly shifts through all 12 gears without hesitation.

I've used it several times

I went from a 32 in the front on my 1x11 to a 36 in the front with eagle and the math says I still got an easier granny gear. Nuts!

I've put it through the wringer

I have had quite a bit of experience with Sram over the years and this is the best thing they have designed yet. All of our wishes have come to true to have that extra bail out gear when going up that steep grinder of a climb. You will be happy to feel that extra click in the shifter and the gear get easier when you're grinding it out on a long day. I highly recommend this for any mountain biker and you will not be disappointed. Sure a 50tooth is massive, but you won't have any issues. Your derailleur is longer, but it won't get in the way of anything.

The best of the best

I've put it through the wringer

I've been riding XX1 eagle for about 1 season now and I have to say it is the best of the best. The dinner plate 50T cog in the back allows you to up your chainring by a couple teeth which makes the gearing that much better on the lower end of the cassette. Some people have had some issues with getting the derailluer dialed in to make the jump from the 42T cog to the 50T but after I played with the b-screw on the derailluer for about 5 minutes, it was running quite smooth. Performance is identical to XX1 1x11 but now you can have blinged out gold in 1x12.
