If you already have a crank, and you want to upgrade to X01 components, you're able to use the X01 104 BCD X-Sync Chainring. And, because there are five ratios, you're also able to make adjustments from 32t to 38t in two tooth increments.
Making gear ratio adjustments, from 32t to 38t increments, just got easier with SRAM's X01 X-SYNC 104 BCD Chainring. These rings are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum for maximum chain control.
And due to SRAM's machining process, each tooth features a variable thickness. Accordingly, the teeth of the chainring are each able to support inner- and outer- chain links. And as a result, the chain and chainring essentially lock together as you pedal. However, the locking of the two doesn't inhibit efficiency. In fact, it eliminates nearly all of the common ailments associated with a single ring.
The X01 X-SYNC Chainring - 104 BCD is compatible with both XX1 and X01 components, and it's available in four even sizes from 32- to 38-teeth. Please note that this chainring's BCD (104) is not compatible with XX1 crankarms (76 BCD). However, it is worth noting that the X01 X-SYNC chainring is compatible with the rest of the XX1 groupset.
