    works great

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

It isn't as good as the feeling of the X01 shifting but you are paying considerably less. It's held up well now so definitely recommended if you're on a tight budget.

    GREAT BUDGET SHIFTER

It does feel cheaper than the more expensive counterparts to my hand, but as far as function goes, it works great. Good enough for a budget build!

    Solid

Pair this with the other GX components for a match made in the USA.

SRAM’s GX component group is no slouch. Sure, it may not be as light and loaded with Carbon this and Titanium that, like SRAM’s XX1 and XO1 group, but if you are after a 1X Shifting group that just plain works and does not break the bank, then this is for you. Functionally you would be hard pressed to discern the difference between the GX and the XX1 in a blind test, weight is another story though, especially with the cassette being a pinned steel cassette, rather than the alloy work of art that is the XO1 and XX1 cassette.
