Very Good
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
My stopping power is the best it's ever been, they're easy to adjust and the lever feels great. Worth every dollar to upgrade to the RSC.

Love it! Easy to adjust when you need to, and with a good SRAM set up, stops on a dime. These things have saved my behind more times than I can count when I've gotten a little too crazy on the trails.

So good.
MORE POWER!!!! Adjustable on the fly for reach and contact, makes it so your super finicky self can get that feel just right before the next KOM attempt. Well worth EVERY penny extra over the basics.

Stop on a dime
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Upgrading the trust Guide R brakes to the RSC model. I love the modulation and level feel of the standard R model but am looking forward to having the adjustable contact point for when the pads start to wear in more.

Great brakes! Great Adjustability!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Love these brakes! Easy to install and maintain and tons of stopping power. The four pistons give me a lot of confidence for steep sections knowing that I can stop. They will fade a little on longer descents but nothing to really worry about. The lever adjust is a really nice feature so you can really dial in your cockpit. The piston adjust is another great adjustment that lets you really dial in the feel of the brakes. If you are thinking about Guides, get the RSCs!

Always reliable and easy to maintain. I will always go with the Sram over the other options.

Punch it and dump speed later

Don't go around that rock garden that keeps scaring you. just keep speed and roll right down the middle of it. Don't worry. you will able to slow down on the other side

Wonderful brakes

My only complaint with these brakes is that the lever is a bit too long for my liking (compared to Shimano XT brakes.) However that is an incredibly small price to pay for incredible stopping power.

My favorite brakes! 4 pistons of stopping power....if you want to stop that is. But who wants to stop

4 Piston Magic
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
For the price these are the best 4 piston brakes on the market. SRAM has done wonders upgrading from there notoriously crappy avid brakes. They stop on a dime.

I have ridden Shimano XT brakes for as long as I can remember and after trying out these on a demo I have switched over. The stopping power is great. Run with the centerline rotors and you wont be disapointed.
