SRAMEagle Ceramic Pulley Wheel Assemble Kit
Item # SRM00F2
Eagle Ceramic Pulley Wheel Assemble Kit
Over time derailleur pulleys tend to wear out, even if the derailleur itself is undamaged. Either the bearings go bad, the pulley teeth wear out, or maybe both. If your bearings are feeling gritty, or the pulley teeth have rounded out, it's in your best interest to replace the pulley wheels to get the best shifting performance out of your drivetrain. These are genuine SRAM replacement pulley wheels for Eagle 12-speed mountain rear derailleurs, with sealed ceramic bearings included. Ceramic bearings spin with less friction that their steel counterparts, minimizing the power lost to your drivetrain. They also shed some weight and tend to last longer.
- Genuine replacement pulleys for SRAM Eagle rear derailleurs
- Compatible with XX1, XO1, and GX Eagle
- Each kit includes two pulley wheels, larger one is the lower wheel
- Ceramic bearings reduce friction, shed weight, and last longer

Why on earth are these so expensive?

Yes, they work great, it's a jockey wheel, but the bigger size of the lower wheel means it's more susceptible to damage, but, you know, whatever, Eagle is worth it. But worse than that... the price is just stoopid. Shimano XT jockey wheels are, like $16. Sram needs to lower the price, or someone else needs to make a more affordable alternative.

Inspect you pulleys.

Eagle pulleys can tend to crack if a rock gets kicked up into your drivetrain while riding. From time to time, inspect your pulleys for cracks. If you see a crack then replace them with these. That way your next ride will not be stopped short. It is not a bad idea to keep an extra set around. It is not a bad idea to upgrade to these ceramic ones either if you have an xo1 or gx derailleur.
