Fine, But Usability Depends on Pedals

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Product is fine and fits my X01 cranks acceptably. However, I'm not using this product b/c I essentially destroyed them attempting to use them with my RF Atlas pedals. These pedals have rather bearing bodies, which exceed the size of the hole of the crank boot. I attempted to enlarge the hole myself (without the most appropriate tool) - which resulted in the untimely demise of the crank boots. TLDR: large bearing pedals are not going to fit.

Sloppy Fit

I returned this product before using it

Running a 2021 version of the X01 and these boots slide up and down with my XT clips installed. Terrible fit. I've had much better luck with older versions of the Race Face boots. Probably need more variations of these boots if the crank arms are going to be different widths from year to year.

SRAM Crank Arm Boot

I've used it several times

It does seem like the holes are on the wrong side but I pushed it on with the big hole pointing outward (pedal side) and the boot along with the pedals went right on no problem. These boots have already take several hits. Im am so glad I got them and I highly recommend them to others.

Fitment and quality

I've used it several times

These fit excellent on my GX cranks and have held up to a few rock strikes already. I purchased a new bike and wanted to keep my cranks looking and working great as long as I can. So far so good.

Poor fit, wonky back hole placement

Sure seems like they have put the big hole on the wrong side, the contour of the boot does not line up with the contour of my x01 crank arms. Fits better reversed but then the holes don’t line up and you can’t put on your pedals. They will do the job, but for a branded product, pretty piss poor execution. Would not buy again.
