Stripped down to its simplest form, the Sportful Men's Bodyfit Pro LTD Bib Short removes all superfluous materials and excess bulk for a streamlined, supportive fit that's ideal for training and high-level racing. AeroFlow Compress along the thighs bolsters compressive stability while maintaining a slippery profile that cuts through the breeze with every pedal stroke forward. 220-gram Lycra maintains optimal levels of compression along hard-working muscle groups while promoting full range of motion for laying down the hammer on sprints and cranking furiously up steep mountain grades. This 10-panel bib short employs flat-lock stitching for a smooth on-skin feel without the scratchy, irritating sensation of traditional stitching.

One of its standout features is Sportful's TC chamois, which stands for Total Comfort. This variable thickness chamois is 13 millimeters at its thickest point, comprised of low-density urethane that absorbs jarring oscillations from fatiguing riding efforts. Its dimpled surface rapidly wicks and disperses perspiration, meaning you won't feel like you're riding in a wet, clammy chamois. Another comfort-enhancing feature, Press-to-Zero edge finishing virtually eliminates chafing from the equation, which is something that's common with a cheaper chamois.

  • Streamlined bib short for training and racing
  • 10-panel design with smooth flatlock stitching
  • 220g Lycra for compression across hard-working muscles
  • AeroFlow Compress along thighs for aerodynamic stability
  • Perforated lie-flat bibs for breathable, upright support
  • Total Comfort chamois absorbs jarring road vibration
  • Seamless leg bands with silicone dot pattern
  • Hidden pocket for media player or phone

Great Products, so far

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I have one of the Bodykit and one Total Comfort bib. I've only owned them for a few months, so I can't comment on longevity, but I'm impressed with the fit, the chamois, and the overall quality. These bibs fit tight. I wouldn't say they are small, but they require a fit body for a given size. I am ~5'8" and around 145 pounds. I have large thighs, and the medium bibs create a very race fit. I find them a bit hard to get into, and they feel really tight until I arrange all body parts in order. After a few minutes of riding, however, the bibs disappear. I don't notice them even after three hours on the bike. I consider them as desirable as the best Assos or Giordana, and they don't share Giordano's ridiculous clam-digger leg lengths. Short people don't need a 25" inseam on their cycling shorts. Overall, I'd rate these as highly as anything I've worn. In six months or so, I'll comment on wear and reliability.

Potential fit issue for some

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I really, really want to like these bib shorts. After a few rides the chamois so far feels great - not too race thin but not a diaper either. However, I'm noticing a potential fit issue in that the fit in the taint region is noticeably pulled taught against the skin. The straps aren't particularly tight, but it's as if the inseam is just right up in there. Depending on your johnson and balls situation, this might pose a problem. So far during rides it's either felt great, or, I adjust and a ball is suddenly a little tweaked. I'm also not a fan of the low chamois stitch in the front, because depending on where your man bits rest, it could rub after a while. For the price point and quality, I'm disappointed it's still "unknown" for now. Time will tell if the fabric wears in a bit. Originally bought a L and had to get an XL because the taint issue was extreme in L.

Awesome fit and very comfortable chamois

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

The chamois is the best i've used, I like it better than Gore, Club Ride, Pearl Izumi In R Cool. Very comfortable and the fit is amazing for long rides. Really like the materials as well, well ventilated and moves with your body. I also ordered the 7 Mesh MK2 bibs to compare with. I liked the soft shoulder straps and materials more on the 7Mesh but the waffled and well ventilated chamois is more comfortable for me on the Sportful so i went with that. Ordered a size up and glad I did, medium would have been too small despite my waist size falling into that category. Gearhead made a great recommendation and was able to price match! way to be!

Sportful is the venerable cycling sportswear company based at the foot of the Dolomites in Northern Italy.

Less well known in the US, they are well known and respected in Europe, supplying many pro teams (Tinkoff-Saxo, Fassa Bortolo, Trek-Segafredo, Bahrain-Merida).

Peter Sagan and Alberto Contador have worn Sportful kit for years.

Anyway, I think bibshorts are one of the best things that Sportful makes. Why?

1.) Sportful's TC Pro chamois is their top chamois -and one of the very best in the business. It is waffled (for ventilation) and features variable thickness.
2.) The shoulder straps are great, they lay flat (like Assos), but are more ventilated.
3.) Well ventilated design around the back too. Great summer bibs!
4.) High quality lycra with flat stitching.
4.) Very high quality and QC overall. Sportful bibshorts are made in Europe -not China like most Castelli bibs.

Sizing: Size up +1 from your normal street size. Italian sizing -is- different.

Also, be aware, these are tailored pretty slim for the target rider: fit, athletic cyclists.
