Road Turbo Presta Valve Tube With Talc

As Specialized's lightest and most supple tube offering, the Road Turbo Presta Valve Tube with Talc is one the least expensive ways you can ditch 40-plus grams of rotating weight on the road. It comes packed in talc for easier installation, and the smooth top makes for easier pump head insertion while the partially threaded valve stem provides a clean interface with said pump. Not to mention, it's also been proven in rolling-resistance testing to reduce drag by as much as 13% per wheel.

These are terrible and had poor QAQC

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Bought a few of these on sale on Backcountry and I’d say around half of the tubes brand new out of the box and onto the wheels ruptured when inflated to roughly 80psi. Never had this issue with Continental or other brands so it’s extremely disappointing to pay this much for a tube which immediately fails.

The best tubes

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

They are expensive but they are the best. I have ran them against continental race light and they are just a little better. You would have to go with a latex tube or go tubeless for any less rolling resistance. The plastic bag that they come in is perfect for holding a co2 inflator and adapter. Keep your flat repair kit nice and tight for your jersey pocket or like I do and have multiple in your saddle bag

Makes fixing flats less of a chore

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It's definitely easier to slip the tube into the tire when the tube is coated in talc. But that's under dry conditions. Not sure if the talc would get mucky if you had to change a tube in the rain.
