Since picking up these bibs they have quickly become my everyday go-tos. I've worn these on road rides, gravel, and mountain (under baggies) and have yet to find a flaw. Bonus points for well-placed pockets and the fact that they are purple! First-up, pockets. Pockets are pretty trendy this season, with every brand seemingly jumping on board. As a woman who has always hated carrying a bag and has longed for more pockets for the majority of her life, I am absolutely here for it. While these bibs don't have leg pockets (check out the RBX Adventure bibs for those), they do have 3 decent-sized stash pockets in the rear, perfect for carrying tools, snacks, a phone, or a slim can of your favorite beverage. They are positioned low enough to easily grab what I need, but high enough that they don't interfere with the waistband if you're wearing a pair of baggies overtop. I mostly utilize these pockets on mountain and shorter gravel rides where my jersey doesn't offer storage and I don't want to bring my hip pack. Fit-wise, I went with my normal bib size (Large) and find that these are a touch roomier and less compressive than the Specialized SL bibs, and the chamois feels a touch thinner. Because of this I've been loving these for mountain rides and shorter efforts on the road. I tend to get skin irritation from leg grippers on long sweaty rides, but have not had an issue with these so far - the 'silicon-infused cuffs' are low profile and don't stick to my skin the way that some others do, but the legs still stay put. The 8" inseam is a touch shorter than some other bibs that I own, but is still plenty long for me. If you're on the hunt for a pair of bibs for shorter or more casual rides that won't break the bank, I highly recommend these. If you're looking for something for those longer rides, check out the Specialized SL.
