Lithia Comp Gel Saddle

Plush comfort can go a long way when you're pedaling on the Specialized Women's Lithia Comp Gel Saddle. Designed for long-distant fitness sessions, the gel-infused, foam-padded seat maximizes cushioning and feels comfy enough for casual cruises. Like all comp-level saddles, the Lithia has a bit of carbon in it to keep things stiff while staying light.

Specialized designed this saddle with a scientifically-tested Body Geometry shape that maximizes blood flow for ergonomic comfort. A Micromatrix cover adds durability and water-resistance to stay solid for seasons. The saddle is also compatible with SWAT storage devices from Specialized.

  • Comfy saddle suitable for fitness and casual cruises
  • Body Geometry scientifically designed to maximize blood flow
  • Carbon fiber shell ensures stiff rigidity at a low weight
  • Foam padding provides extra vibration damping with gel inserts
  • Micromatrix cover is tough and water-resistant
  • SWAT-compatible mounts accept additional storage options

Not my cup of tea

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This Lithia Comp gel saddle replaced an original Specialized Comp Bridge saddle on my Sirrus X hybrid. The Lithia was certainly better than the original Bridge saddle, but still ended up being uncomfortable over the long haul. After riding for only 10 miles, I couldn’t wait to get off of the bike due to Lithia saddle being unkind. I came to the conclusion that Specialized saddles don’t suit me well. I ended up replacing the Lithia saddle with a completely different brand, Selle Royal which I’ve been very happy with.
