Why We Like The Align MIPS Helmet

The Align is one of the most affordable cycling helmets from Specialized, and it's been upgraded with modern protection for innovative safety suitable for the streets. The Specialized Align MIPS Helmet uses a low-friction liner that rotates independently for increased impact protection at angled crashes. Combined with Specialized features, the protection system ensures comfortable road performance. Its Headset SX fit system includes a glove-friendly, micro-adjustable dial that ensures a snug fit, while the Tri-Fix straps feel light and low-profile. The 4th Dimension Cooling system ensures ventilation for year-round comfort.

Too Bulky

Size Bought:
M/L
Height:
5' 6"
Weight:
158

I ordered the blue metallic one, and the color is nice and quality appearance is what's expected for a Specialized product. Helmet may work ok for some people who don't mind the thickness and weight of it. I put it on and looked huge,, my head was like portobello mushroom. Much thicker and heavier than the Giro Foray I'm looking to replace. Maybe is the combo sizing S/M and M/L (instead of having S, M and L sizing) as I use Medium size helmets.
