Why We Like The Leadout Pivlock Polarized Sunglasses

We put on the Leadout Pivlock Polarized Sunglasses for days where the rays are always getting in our way. It has polarized lenses to ensure we're not blinded when coming around corners into direct light. The strong nylon frame also gives us the confidence it won't shatter if it falls. Chances are it's not going anywhere though—the Megol nose pads provide a secure, non-slip grip even if moisture is a factor.

Comfortable glasses multi function

Having the exrta set of low light lenses is nice. Comfortable nose pieces. Light weight and look great. Will see how they hold up. Smith service and product are generally top notch.

Do the job well

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I’ve been using the glasses for playing tennis in the sun. They do the job well by reducing glare. The frame is sturdy but light. But, be aware, these glasses are for wide “round face”. For all others - they will probably fall off as you move.

Great Glasses!

Purchased the Leadout with the Photochromic Clear to Grey Lenses. Following Cataract surgery a few years ago, my eyes are more sensitive to light. The Photochromic lenses seemed at first to be too light, but I have experienced that they always darken just enough for comfort. The frames fit very well and edge coverage is excellent. I have a wide face. I do not care for the models with the wide temples that block side vision and these serve well. I've recommended them to several friends who appreciate fine eyewear.

Still love the flexibility of pivlock for night and day riding

Bought them for biking and outdoor athletics. Good coverage, comfortable and like being able to swap lenses. Bought the white frame with dark chromapop lenses, they also come with a very light tint pair of lenses which work well at night.

I like.

Fit a bit big. Sort of have a Thunderbirds feel, but not in a bad way, and it equals good coverage. A nice alternative to the massive windshield/retro/goggle trend in bike glasses.

Great glasses inside a motorcycle helmet

I use these primarily as motorcycle sunglasses. They are perfect because the lenses can be customized to the lighting conditions on the fly. It much easier than carrying around an extra face shield for my helmet. The glasses also fit well inside my helmet. Fit and style are great and Smith quality is always top notch.

A bit massive in size

A bit massive in size but great for mountain bicking and any other exterior sports.

They're OK but impossible to

They're OK but impossible to swap lenses without getting fingerprints all over them and needing to clean them again
