Item # SLC000T
Item # SLC000TA multi-tool for the ages.
Not all multi-tools are created equal, and Silca's Italian Army Knife looks to top them all with classic Silca quality and laser attention to details. Like its Swiss compatriot is to daily life, this little tool packs everything you need for small fixes amidst epic cycling adventures. Mid-length tools tuck neatly within beautifully machined side plates, balancing the leverage you need for fixes with the minimalist size your streamlined saddle bag requires. Its blend of hex, Torx, and screwdriver heads are double-chromed to resist corrosion over time, while stainless steel hardware lend durability to the overall structure.
- A sleek, high-quality multi-tool
- Magnetized side bars securely store a spare chain connector
- Forged and plated tools resist corrosion
- Available in two sizes/tool configurations

Really nice emergency tool
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The first impression is that it is just beautiful, jewelry like. Second is that it has all the necessary tools (except a chain breaker) and is very compact. It 45 years of cycling I had never had a cable break (rear derr), then it happened. It was in an area with rolling 6-11% grades. Using the 2mm allen key I was able to manually set the low position to the 17T cog (instead of 11T). It made an otherwise impossible ride (I tried one hill at 34-11) of 10 hilly miles quite enjoyable.
Top Notch Design and Construction
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
We are spoiled for options in multitools. However design and construction quality can vary quite a bit between brands and models. This Nove tool sits at the top of the pile.
-Materials used are top notch. No cheap parts here, this is built to last. Everything is corrosion resistant.
-The pivots are firm so the tools don't flop and rattle around and they don't look like they'll loosen up.
-All the tools you need. No chain tool which never works great on a mulitool. I worry I'll lose the 8mm bit that sits on the 5mm but it snaps into place pretty securely.
-Tolerances on the tools are great. No rounding out bolts with this. I find myself using it in my home shop, not just on the trail.
Thanks for the great review Robert! Glad the gear is working for you.
