    Good quality stiff shoe

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times
    Fit:
    True to size
    Size Bought
    42.5
    Height
    5` 3"
    Weight

I'm biased because I like everything Sidi so my opinion is: They fit like every other Sidi shoe I own so if you wear a 42.5 in one shoe you'll wear a 42.5 in this one. I also own a pair of Dominator 10's and they appear to be the same except the Dominator has a mountain shoe tread and two hole cleat mounting. I've got about 25 hours on them now and the Boa's work as intended but it's easy to get them too tight. I marked the lace as it enters the boa to be consistent on tension. As the shoe has broken in the tongues feel better, they were stiff to start but are forming to my feet. I have very flat feet and while the insole is made for someone that has more of an arch, it feels fine to me. The sole is stiff but not like rocks. I like the low narrow heel, it keeps my heel secure and doesn't dig into my foot so it's been very comfortable. As opposed to another review, I don't expect shoes to stay clean. In fact I purposely get them wet and dirty while breaking them in so they form to my feet better and I don't look like newb. I have the yellow ones as well and they are certainly bright enough even dirty. TLDR: It's a good quality shoe and what I've come to expect from every Sidi shoe I've owned.

Smudge easy and impossible to clean

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Hello, I just bought a pair of neon yellow Sidi Genius 10 shoes and notice they are getting ugly really fast. I'm talking about the toe area that all cyclists use to flip up the pedal to clip in. Because of the matte finish of the shoe and rough texture, they are picking up and soaking in every bit of black grease found on my relatively clean pedals. I've tried several things to try and get the stains out, but nothing works. I've worn them twice and can just picture how hideous they will be by next fall. What do you suggest?

    Hello,

    Don't buy yellow shoes.

I have used yellow shoes for team training & racing; Mavics/Adidas, Sidi's. The newer harder shell yellow Mavics clean up but lacked comfort of a Sidi. The default cleaner for the Sidi's is Simple Green slighty diluted. It's true; all of the yellows will show scuffs/stains and that goes with the flash.

Use Speedplays; no flipping required. Plus, you get the benefit of a superior pedal system! Come to think of it, though, even in my Look days, I don’t recall having problems with smudging due to pedal use. Maybe it’s entry/exit technique?
