Dimaro Cycling Shoe

When designing the Dimaro, Sidi used extensive knowledge on trail-shoe design to create a responsive feel with key support areas in the ankle and toe-box to launch their first gravity shoe. Double-strap over-the-lace closure system keeps the shoe tightly secured and prevents laces from getting caught in your chainring.

Geared toward flat-pedal and clipless users alike, the Dimaro implements a removable Vibram cap that fits into the clipless mounting point for added grippiness during flat-pedal use. The shoes’ stiff Vibram sole is equally useful on and off the bike, contributing to a responsive ride-feel and excellent grip for hike-a-bike missions. The Dimaro is up for the challenge whether you are hiking backcountry ridge trails, pushing results in your enduro race, or just hitting your favorite local bike park.

  • Sidi’s first gravity-oriented shoe for flat and clipless pedals
  • Lace and double-strap closure keep feet in place as you smash rock gardens
  • Sole features Vibram cap for flat pedals, but can be removed for clipless
  • Vibram sole is stiff and grippy for both pedal and hike performance
  • Elastic reinforced heel closure keeps loose trail debris out of the shoe

best commuter shoes yet

I've put it through the wringer
Runs small

I've had Chrome and Afton but these are the best so far for daily commute rides and gravel as well. I wear some worn down cleats and have no click clack at all when walking.

Drop the gator!

Really nice shoe in terms of fit and quality. Not sure how they perform on the trail and the ground feedback they provide. I couldn’t get past the gator. Thought about removing it, but figured that would void the warranty. I wear a size 9 or 42.5 euro in most street shoes, and the Sidi 42 fit great.

I am a fan of Sidi and when they came out with this new shoe, I was so excided. See I am a flat peddle rider now and no longer use cleats. When I did, I only used Sidi so when I saw this I got all excided and wanted to love hem. The fit is awesome as I am a 46 Euro and that is an 11.5 USA for Sidi. Therefore, this Sidi is more like their classic shoes and not so wide which works great for a flat shoe rider that likes to move their foot around for balance, etc. However, the Sidi soles are WAY TOO thick and without using the cleat its a huge fail as you can't feel the peddle like you can with 5/10s. I couldn't get comfortable with them and if felt dangerous. To conclude I would give these a 1 Star but for those that want a very protective shoes, no broken toes etc, that is rugged AND you CLIP-IN. This shoe is perfect for you!

Clip-in perfection... seriously.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size

I got a pair of these to try on and my initial impression is - a truly perfect fit as expected from Sidi - I am about a US 9.5 and the 43's fit perfect - better in fact than any Giro or Five Tens that I currently own. (Giro chamber and Impact pros eaten by the dog...). if I was in the market of replacing a pair of clip-in style shoes these are about as perfect as I could dream of. If you are looking for clip-in shoes stop reading this and buy them or call your gearhead to get some on backorder! Easy in and out, great lace cover and I like the looks. the gaiter is a shop divider (disgusting to some gearheads - haha) but in person, it is comfortable and would definitely keep out dust and debris. My criticism is: this is not a flat or clip-in shoe as advertised. if you want a true flat shoe you will have to look elsewhere - sadly. the cleat cover is more durable than most but I see it becoming damaged under a lot of riding with flat pedals. it is rubber and does not key into the sole in any way as it is just held into the shoe by the cleat screws. Sidi please make this exact shoe in a dedicated flat shoe!
