The Short Stack is built for all-mountain, trail, and enduro riding, and features Shred's exceptionally light SLYTECH honeycomb-cone structure impact foam. This structure is designed to intelligently adapt to impacts, and when paired with Shred's Rotational Energy System, or RES for short, you'll find an unparalleled synergy between the two to combat both linear and rotational forces. Shred claims that RES scales in at both the lightest, and thinnest solution for addressing rotational hits currently on the market, and while we haven't put that to the test, we're all for making our helmet systems a little more on the featherweight side, especially when it doesn't come at the cost of our security. The Short Stack doesn't end with its tech-packed protection though, it also utilizes 20 strategically placed vents to help keep you cool, and XT2 pads that use silver to provide permanent odor control, so you can feel fresh after a day of berm-blasting.
