Showers PassTransit Pant - Women's
Item # SHO001T
Transit Pant
Showers Pass hails from Portland, OR so they are pretty well versed in riding in wet weather. If you are a 365-day commuter and won't let the weather dictate your riding plans, the Women's Transit Pant is for you. These pants are rugged and keep water out with the 3-layer waterproof, yet highly breathable Artex material. The women's specific sizing improves the fit and the pants features many design elements for great on the bike use. Showers Pass includes a full length reflective stripe down the side of each leg for maximum visibility during the heaviest deluges. Ankle zippers help these rain pants slide on and off over shoes quite easily, and one of our favorite parts is the ankle cinch strap keeping the cuffs out of the chain's way. These pants include a mesh stuff sack for storage or if the skies decide to change their mind. This style runs small, so size up if you are layering over street clothes.
- Waterproof pants ease the wet commute
- 10,000mm waterproof rating keep you dry
- Ankle zippers for ease of putting on or taking off
- Reflective elements for visibility
- Ride in when others will drive

I pulled these out of the bag, and they were massive. I usually buy small or medium pants, based off of size charts. I opted for mediums here since Storms Pass suggests going up a size if planning to wear these pants over clothes. I don't know who these sizes were modelled after, but this medium is NOT a normal medium. It wears more like an XL. Put them right back in the bag. Never got to test the water-proof-ness of them, but I'll say that the pants look much more fitted in the photos online than they are in-person. Not sure I would spend over $100 for these just based on looks.

I like these pants but the description say they run small... I usually wear a size 6. I am short, but I bike and hike and have strong legs. Usually I would buy a small ... but to fit these over clothes I would lean towards a medium. I am afraid they medium may be way too long for my 5'2" height. Any info?

Hi Casilyn, The fit won't be ideal either way, but the medium is definitely the best choice. Let me know if you need any further help on this.
