LOVE GLOVE
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
This glove fits as it should I got the size that I normally get and it fit well. the quality and construction look good for the money.
Great warmth, wind and water proofing
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I've had these gloves for four long rides in upstate western, NY. Rode in 28 degrees and snow, mid 30's and windy and mid-40's and rain. Awesome gloves. My only (minor) issue is when you wear these when temps are in the 40's, your hands will feel clammy. Never cold or uncomfortable, but sweaty. Love them!
The warmest gloves we carry
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
Between the 110% wind proof, and water proof outer shell, and the marino wool lining, these gloves will keep your hand warm, in 28 degree weather, sticking out of the car window going 75 mph on the freeway... it was crazy how warm my hands stayed! And yes, that was my crazy test for these, and it justified the price in a heart beat
Water/windproof but oddly shaped
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
Performance: Hands were still dry after ~2 hrs of misting rain. The wool layer is extremely thin. I had to wear a liner to stay warm while riding in wet and freezing temps.
Fit: Medium size glove palm is baggier than most brands and fingers are slightly too short. There's a non-adjustable thin elastic around the base of the hand, but it's too loose to secure the glove when gripping the handlebar. There's also a velcro closure around wrist closure, but the velcro doesn't extend far enough for a tight fit. I've had to add shockcord around the wrist for a snugger fit. I also plan on sewing a small strip of velcro for a tighter closure to prevent the glove from riding off.
