Item # SHI002D

The ZEE SL-M640 Shifter works with Shimano's 10-speed derailleurs to provide consistent and precise shifts. Using Rapid Fire Plus and two-way release, the ZEE shifts just as well as SLX but uses shorter paddles for DH, FR, and jump bikes. The textured shifter levers add an intuitive element to Shimano's ZEE SL-M640, and it uses a one-bolt clamp to fasten to handlebars.

Simple and reliable

I've put it through the wringer

Simple and reliable. Paired it with XT derailleur on my XC/AM bike and love it more than others that I tried including XT and X01.

Changes the gears

I chose this shifter just to match the Zee derailleur switching over from XT. Works great, shifts solid, and I have no complaints!

Replacement turned upgrade

I've put it through the wringer

Broke my older XT shifter and rear derailleur in a crash and I needed to replace them so I turned to Zee and they work better! I've got the Zee brakes as well. Really happy with them and when the time comes Ill get another Zee setup.

Fantastic Shifter

I've put it through the wringer

I picked up one of these to convert my old Specialized Rockhopper to a 1x10 drivetrain. I used a sunrace 11-42 cassette and a Shimano M786 derailleur. Overall it's made the bike a really fun tech-like bike to take out and rip on. This shifter has taken a ton of abuse and is still delivering on point shifting. It's well constructed and just super burly. A super good buy for anyone looking to swap or beef up their shifter.
