Shimano XTR Di2 2x11 Front Derailleur Package - OE $450.00
Shimano has taken a firm hold at the top of the wired electronic shifting market with its Di2 components, and the XTR Di2 sits atop the pointy end of the trail groups. For those of us running a 2x11 setup, the XTR Di2 2x11 Front Derailleur Package provides the smoothest, most precise, and ridiculously reliable shifting out there.
Shimano knows that the best gear changes are ones you don't have to think about, and this derailleur delivers that peace of mind with a super low shift-initiation force. Just a swift tap of a button is enough to get to the gear you want, even under load. This derailleur also utilizes computer controlled auto-trim to keep the drivetrain running quietly and smoothly throughout the gear range, eliminating pesky chain rub so you can get distracted by the scenery instead of that wildlife-startling, raspy chain noise.
Along with its amazing shifting capability, this derailleur is extremely versatile. It features Synchronized Shift technology that makes using a shift lever optional. Keeping the shift lever in place lets those of us who want exact control over our shifting keep that traditional feel, while others can take advantage of removing the front shifting mechanism to let the derailleur do the work. This brilliant component uses your programmed settings and shifting direction to determine the appropriate time to jump between chainrings. This doesn't just make for one less decision out on the trail, it also drops the weight of the group down to nearly mechanical system lightness.
Like the rest of the XTR Di2 group, the XTR Di2 2x11 Front Derailleur Package is compatible with Shimano's rust-, stretch-, and freeze-free E-Tube wiring system for worry-free functionality out on the trail. It can be set up on almost any frame, but has less friction on frames built with Di2 compatibility in mind. We've packaged the derailleur in tandem with a variety of mount adapters to fit any mounting system. It has a maximum chainring size of 34-38 teeth, depending on the mounting style.
Claimed weights are provided by the vendor.
