Having an issue with the new pads glazing over in the front. No issues with the rear and braking power is fantastic. I have sanded and cleaned both pads and rotors with no luck. After cleaning I bed them each time using my typical method - roll to a stop 10 times letting the brakes cool on each pass. Any suggestions?

Worth the higher price

I use these on my shimano Zee brakes on my downhill bike and they are great. They are pretty quiet and grip hard. Installation was easy at home with a pink bike video .

Quite Nice

These are the go-to if you run 4-piston Shimano brakes and appreciate sintered metallic pads. They run cool enough, they last quite a while, and they bite good and hard.

STOP
- Familiarity:

Bedding in new pads when they are installed is a critical step. The process transfers a small amount of pad material to the rotor and preps the pad surface for real-world braking. Don’t skip this step. Pros -fade at a higher temperature than resin pads -better performance in wet conditions -last longer Cons -louder -longer break-in time -not as much initial bite -heat is conducted through the caliper, not the rotor

Powerful

These pads are super powerful with Shimano Saint brakes and the added fins help keep the brakes cool and silent.

Silent stoppers

They're quiet, stop extremely well, and work great in every condition I've had them in. Only gripe is they are not cheap.

Hey Alan, If you are doing all of those thing, it may be best to try a new rotor, sometimes rotors can be saves, sometimes they are beyond that. If you are interested in some new rotors reach out to me and I can help figure out what you need. gcelentano@backcountry.com
