S-Phyre Insulated Shoe Cover
The S-Phyre Insulated Shoe Cover dares us to get outside to ride on the greyest days. Fully waterproof, the shoe cover protects us from the elements with a thick neoprene upper and unique cuff that sits snugly against the calf, preventing water from getting in overtop of the ankle. The thick neoprene’s dimpled appearance serves both to enhance aerodynamics and to make dials and buckles easy to adjust without wrestling the shoe cover off mid-ride. Shimano’s metallic thermal tech-ti neoprene has ample stretch to allow the shoe covers to pull on over shoes and cleats without hook-and-loop or zippers and reflects heat to keep you riding longer and farther, no matter the weather.
- Waterproof and insulated shoe cover for training in harsh conditions
- Pull on design improves water-proofing and aerodynamics
- BOA dials are accessible through fabric for on-the-fly adjustments

Not too bad for low temperature. I rode using them once so far for 3 hours in 40 degrees and got cold feet as the temps dropped toward the end of the ride. The shoes I had underneath are well ventilated though so maybe I will try again with a less ventilated shoe.

Color in photo is very inaccurate.

My girlfriend bought me these for an upcoming cold weather ride and I was so excited! But the color in the photo doesn’t remotely resemble what these are in real life. These are straight up silver, with a black sole. No two bones about it. Nothing misleading about the listing— Shimano themselves mark the product BLACK on the packaging— but do not go by the photo here at all. These are very, very much silver and not black. I’ll be returning them and getting some Gore or Castelli in proper black.
