Shimano S-PHYRE Glove - Men's $59.99
Comfort and protection without losing contact.
We've been beyond impressed with Shimano's S-PHYRE lineup of clothing, shoes, and accessories. It's redefined our expectations of how cycling clothing should fit and perform and with the dedication and development that Shimano puts in its components, it really shouldn't come at any surprise. We have anxiously been waiting to get our hands on, rather in, a pair of its Men's S-PHYRE Glove and now that we have, they're so comfortable we have to remind ourselves to take them off post ride.
Shimano knows a thing or two about hand and shifter interfacing, after all, the brand did pioneer the first shifter/brake lever controls and continues to refine the shape of the hoods to a more pleasing form with every new generation. What makes this glove so comfortable is the one-piece panel made from a soft yet durable material. By using the one-piece design, Shimano was able to remove seams that would otherwise cause irritation and prevent you from having a comfortable grasp on the bars and hoods. Additionally, Shimano foregoes any padding or mechanical closures that would add bulk or otherwise affect your grip. The design simply adds more control in all conditions. Shimano also gives the S-PHYRE gloves a pre-curved design that conforms to your hands, instead of the other way around, and feel great from the get-go.
The Shimano S-PHYRE glove is available in the color Black and in five sizes from S–XXL.
