Professional Bike fitters use SMP

I have been riding on SMP saddles for over 7 years and I am currently using the Avant after using the Drakon. Two different bike fitters, in different states I have lived, use SMP. I'm XL and tall and ride road, and gravel using the Avant. I have an SMP on my MTB also. Important to fitting the saddle is to use a level. After learning one of the fitters methods, I too am using a 3 degree down nose. I like the Avant ,a little flatter, over the Drakon due to the extra padding and because I am able to move on the saddle into more positions. I'm retired and I try to ride as many days as possible. I typically ride 3-4 days a week for a total of 100 miles with 20 climbs a year up McKenszie Pass. This July I joined a 1000 mile ride challenge and rode 29/31 days on the Avant. I made it past my goal with no saddle soreness. Unique to the SMP line is the ability to use their sample saddles to find the right one. The sample saddles are red and yellow. My advice is to get professionally fitted. Use the samples to compare the different models. If you try on your own, 3 degree down nose using a level. For comparison, my wife 135 pounds, 5'10" uses a Drakon.

I'm a Prostate cancer survivor and need to know which Stelle saddle is recommended for me. The doctor has given me clearance to cycle again. I currently ride an Orbea Orca, I am 5'9" and weigh 203 Lbs. Im looking forward to your recommendations. Jerry
