SLR Super Flow Saddle

Traditionally, hyper-lightweight saddles have been synonymous with numbness and discomfort after just a few miles of riding. Cyclists were happy to make the sacrifice, however, because that pain equated to speed. Thankfully, those days are over. The Selle Italia SLR Super Flow saddle can be easily recognized by the massive anatomic cutout across the top that relieves the rider's soft tissue areas.

The Super Flow starts with a nylon composite base. This bas is reinforced with 30% carbon fiber to achieve the exact stiffness that Selle Italia was looking for. The saddle is stiff enough for efficient pedaling, but it also gives enough to comfortably conform to your body's movements, with the titanium rails also allowing a bit of flex to dampen road shock and absorb vibration.

What is the stack height on this saddle? (The height from the center of the rails to the top of the contact point with my butt)? I am trying to get a used tandem to fit where the problem is that the captain seat is too high...Need to know to see if I can get it to fit me without needing a frame builder to shorten the seat tube rise. Word on the interwebs is that this is the lowest stack height of any saddle...but the reference didn’t cite the number.

Hey Mark, the stack height, from the bottom of the rails to the top of the seat, at the center of the saddle, is 40mm.
