Find your flow.

Selle Italia has long held a stellar reputation for race-ready, durable, and comfortable saddles featuring classic Italian style. The Novus Flow S Saddle lives up to that reputation, delivering exceptional comfort in a lightweight package that lets you confidently tackle any ride adventure.

The Flow S gets its name from the cutout running down the middle of the saddle, which lets in cooling air flow and reduces pressure on the perineal artery and surrounding sensitive tissue. This cutout shifts the weighted contact points to your sit bones, which are far more able to support weight comfortably with less numbness and pain.

Compared to its road racing-specific siblings, the Novus Flow S features just a smidgeon of extra padding to cushion the ride across multiple disciplines. Its extraordinary versatility allows it to shuttle between technical trails, pristine pavement, and the mud and remounts required to tackle cyclocross — all while keeping things cool and comfy throughout the ride.

The Selle Italia Novus Flow S Saddle features a long, narrow profile that tops out at 137mm wide in order to provide a wide range of positioning options for riders with narrower hips. Riders with wider sit bones may prefer the Novus Flow L with its wider, 146mm stance.

I'd rather ride on a lead pipe

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am 6'1" 175 lbs and used this on a road bike, mostly on an indoor trainer, for about 30 or 40 rides averaging about 80 minutes per ride. It was the most uncomfortable saddle I've ever used. I kept thinking I would get used to it, but never did, it remained horribly uncomfortable and I sold it used and got only $17 for it. I'm using an ISM saddle now and it's only "so-so" (which is substantially better than this saddle).

Very stylish and aesthetic, but...

I'm 5'8", 150 lbs. Road bike, 40-60 miles a week.

This saddle is very stylish and nice to look at. The material used seems very study and appears like it could be long lasting. However, after a 60 mile ride on it with a chamois, it did not go well with the shape of my behind. The padding is very appropriately described as "smidgeon" as per their detail. It's just too "smidgeon" for me.

Great saddle

I have tried a lot of saddles, Fabric Line, Fizik Antares VS, Bontrager Paradigm, Selle SMP full carbon, Selle SMP Glide, and THIS is the saddle for me. Before that the Bontrager Paradigm was about the most comfortable I could get, which wasn't very. But the first ride, 20 miles, which is what I ride every day, it was awesome from the beginning. No adjustment period needed. Comfortable right out of the gate, was able to get into the drops easily and comfortably as well. This WILL be my saddle. And the shipping time was fast and easy as well. Thanks Competitive Cyclist.

A good saddle. Liked the cutout.
It is a little hard though and I prefer more cushioning. Final assessment came after a 62 mile ride.
