Finding the perfect saddle is an overwhelming experience, especially when a rock-hard racing saddle is too little, and most 'women's saddles' are little more than over-padded bar stools. For this very reason, Selle Italia created the Lady Gel Flow Saddle. Essentially, it strikes an ideal balance between the aforementioned extremes. So, whether you're happiest on winding roads or dusty singletrack, this saddle will be just right.

Comfort was the primary concern with the Lady Gel Flow, so Selle Italia employed a nylon base that blends support with a comfortable flex. Aiding in the comfort factor is the shape, which combines a generous 160mm tail width with a medium 262mm overall length. The result is a saddle that supports your sit bones, without being so wide that it gets in the way when you're pedaling. Furthering this theme of targeted support, a pressure relief channel runs down the middle in order to direct your body's weight to your sit bones. Why? Well, because the sit bones are far more adept than your soft tissues at supporting your body's weight.

For further comfort, Selle Italia incorporated a layer of gel underneath the hard-wearing Lorica cover. Basically, this protective buffer cancels out much of road vibration. But, unlike those terrible gel seat covers that you may have seen, the gel used here is thin. So, it provides plenty of support, even after long days in the saddle.

Supporting the entire saddle are Selle Italia's Manganese Tube rails. These rails are both strong and lightweight. So strong, in fact, that Selle Italia rates this saddle for off road use. And no matter where your ride takes you, the vibration absorbers in the aft of the saddle will take away the sting. So, you're able to ride this saddle pretty much anywhere, and it will be equally at home.

The Selle Italia Lady Gel Flow Saddle is available in a 160x262mm size and in the colors Black and White.

  • Luxurious comfort meets race-ready performance in this saddle
  • Female-specific shape supports sit bones without being too wide
  • Lorica cover with gel padding absorbs harsh road chatter
  • Pressure relief channel promotes a natural, comfortable position
  • Manganese Tube rails provide balance of strength and low weight

The Only Saddle

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

One of my riding buddies swears by this saddle. This is the only saddle she has rocked for the last 10 years and it is the only one she will continue to use.

Great gift

Got this as a gift for my sister and she is pretty stoked on it so far, pressure relief cutout in the center works well to take pressure off of nerves and keep the rider right on the sit bones. There is a reason this saddle is constantly on lists for the best women's saddle on the market right now!

Softer Ride & Sit Bone Support

Just traded in the WTB Volt that arrived on my 5010 for a Selle Italia Gel Flow, and I wish I had done it sooner. I was looking for a bit more saddle width with some additional cushion for my sit bones, and this is exactly that. The soft tissue relief is an added benefit of going with a women's saddle. The Gel Flow throughout the saddle and soft nose makes the weight shifts and "boobs on bar" climbs a hell of a lot more bearable. And while the saddle is soft, it's still stiff, athletic and lightweight.

Which one do you have? ON your picture it looks like the Diva?

    Extremely comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I exchanged the saddle that came with my bike for this snazzy lady saddle as I have wider sit bones! Yay! Anyway, after training for a short two weeks, I took it on 40 mile ride and didn't feel any worse for the wear. I would have died using the other saddle. It looks high end too. The gel makes it comfortable, but it still looks sporty.

    Best saddle I've ever ridden

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This saddle fits my sit bone width perfectly. Other people complain about pain, but I've never experienced any after riding. I keep thinking about getting a lighter and narrower saddle, but don't want to mess with a good thing. This saddle is breathable and comfortable, not too soft or too hard. I really don't think about it when I'm riding.

    Sit down and Ride!

Loving my saddle . It does have a slight raised rear, not seeming to be a problem for me. I love the white. Feminine fit is great. I am usually in the saddle for quite sometime, and this seat has made it easy for me :0), meet my little friend in the photo hehe

    Sit down and Ride!

    Almost comfortable

Love the wide rear to support sitting bones. However, the mid- nose was too wide for me and resulted in pain/pressure. Also, this is not a flat saddle- it has a raised rear. Look for side photos on other websites to get a real idea of the profile. Not the saddle for me, but I hear other women do like it.
