Versatile and solid rack

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

First things first - I think you would pull the window out of your truck before you broke the seal on this. You do have to maintain and mount it per the simple instructions but it is SOLID.

The other big advantage is versatility. It ships with a 9mm QR adapter, and you can buy 12mm, 15mm, 15 mm Boost, and 20mm thru-axle adapters. You can pretty much carry any bike around. Plus, of course, you can easily move it from truck to truck.

You do pay for the versatility. Each additional adapter set is $30+. The other down side is security. There is no way to lock the bike to the rack, even for light duty security. You have to run a cable or chain through the bike to your truck. Same for the rack itself - you have to run a cable through the rack handle and padlock it to your truck to secure it.

Overall: a very handy and secure rack!
