What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“This is a dialed XC race build with modern capability baked in. TwinLoc keeps the bike efficient when you’re pushing pace, the SID Select stays composed through rough sections, and GX AXS Transmission delivers reliable shifting under power. It’s a race-ready platform that still feels confident when trails get rowdy.”
The Spark RC Team Issue Bike is engineered around SCOTT’s carbon HMF frame with Integrated Suspension Technology and a Flex Pivot rear end, reducing hardware while maintaining controlled travel and efficient power transfer. The internally housed shock centralizes mass and improves torsional stiffness, while adjustable head angle inserts allow riders to fine-tune handling characteristics for specific terrain and course profiles.
Up front, the RockShox SID Select 3P provides 120mm of travel with a Charger RL three-mode damper for efficient climbing support and controlled descending performance. The rear RockShox NUDE 5 RL3 shock is tuned specifically for SCOTT’s suspension layout and works with TwinLoc to deliver three modes: lockout, traction control, and descend, letting riders optimize efficiency and grip at the bar.
Wireless shifting comes via SRAM GX Eagle AXS Transmission, designed to maintain crisp performance even under load. SRAM Motive four-piston brakes add reliable control on long descents, while the DT Swiss XRC 1501 carbon wheelset keeps acceleration sharp and climbing efficiency high. Built for cross-country racing and marathon riding where speed and composure both matter, the Spark RC Team Issue thrives when the pace is high and the trail is unpredictable.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
