Pro One Evolution Tire

Schwalbe's involvement in the tire industry dates back to 1922, and to call the Pro One Evolution "the best road bike tire" they've created is quite the statement. The Pro One receives Schwalbes' new ADDIX Race Compound that sets a high standard for clincher-only road tires. Charging hard after the elusive "souplesse" sensation on the road, which combines speed and control, ADDIX promotes traction in hard-cornering criteriums and maintains speed well on road-racing descents. The supple Souplesse Carcass construction helps maintain a stable contact patch for predictable steering, and the V-Guard protection fabric maximizes puncture resistance so you can compete for the finish instead of wondering what could have been.

The Pro One is a clincher-only tire and is not intended for tubeless setups, however, coming in 23-30mm widths, it covers a large range of needs from time-trial events to modern mixed-terrain races that require wider tires.

Great feel, terrible durability

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These tires feel great but the compound is so soft they don't last long before a flat spot develops in the center of the tread. About that time, they start to puncture and aren't worth continuing on. I moved to Conti GPs and they're so much better. Still great road feel, great durability and no punctures.
