Why We Like The One Performance Tire

With a good tire, long days on the bike and more miles in the saddle equates to low rolling resistance and speed for feeling fast and free on our ride. The One Performance Tire offers it all, plus tubeless-easy action that lets us run lower tire pressures as needed and combat flats. We like that this tire provides traction and speed, and you can bet we're putting it to the test with all-day rides and all-around cycling.

  • Tubeless-easy tire for all-around road riding
  • EPI carcass plus RaceGuard works to protect the tire
  • ADDIX compound is durable, reliable, and grippy
  • Siping tread pattern pulls away wet from the contact patch
  • Tubeless compatibility enables lowe pressures and flat protection

I am usually on Continental 5000 but wanted to try this guy as it was on sale. And wow was I amazed- right out of the box it felt like a real tire, sturdy, good amount of rubber on it, and just like a tire I would trust for long rides. I put it on early March, both front and back, and when in May, after about 2,500 miles I had my first flat with them I remembered that I had forgotten to change them (which I would usually do after 1500-2,000 miles). I got the 700x25 for my road bike, which rides like butter. Very smooth, excellent grip- never had a fearful moment- and a great all-around tire. I am not riding competitively, but it feels like a fast tire. Highly recommended!

I have very narrow gap between chain-stays so can only use 23mm tubeless tires. Seems all the tire manufacturers are not making 23mm tubeless anymore so I've been buying up last years stock. So my surprise Competitive Cyclist advertises this as a tubeless ready tire, it is not! After visiting Schwalbe website I don't believe they make a 23mm tubeless (addix) tire anymore. Prior to ordering I wrote an email to Competitive Cyclist about these tires asking them to confirm these tires were tubeless. They did not respond. Being a wishful thinker I ordered two of these tires. When the tires arrived I set them on the shelf. Recently I had a sidewall slash so I opened them up. As you can see from the photo, written in red on the sidewall is "Tube Only" . The box also says "Tube Type". Unfortunately Competitive Cyclists has still not corrected this and are advertising these as tubeless.
